Allergy Aware: We work together to ensure every child feels safe, included and supported, whatever their allergy or dietary need.
Nut-Free School. The safety and wellbeing of our pupils is our highest priority. To help protect children and adults with nut allergies, our school operates as a nut-free school. We ask all pupils, parents, carers, staff and visitors not to bring nuts or products containing nuts onto the school premises, including in packed lunches, snacks and food brought in for special occasions. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.

English as an Additional Language If your child is bilingual, we value their first language as much as the English they are learning. We believe a child’s first language should be encouraged at home. Where possible we will support it in nursery too. Being bilingual gives children a lifelong advantage in their learning, and helps them feel connected to their family culture. We use Makaton signing, visual communication boards and other forms of communication alongside speaking and listening, so that all children are included.
